Femur’s Fund

Meet Femur! This brave little kitten was discovered in an abandoned building alongside her brother. They were only five weeks old, far too young to survive on their own, but more importantly, Femur was missing a paw.

Despite her condition, Femur is an energetic and friendly cat. She loves to play with her brother and is a world champion snuggler. However, during her time in a foster home, it became clear that there was something wrong with Femur's leg beyond simply looking abnormal.

Femur's x-rays show that her back leg is not properly attached to her hip. As a result, she drags her leg when she walks, leaving the "stump" bloody and raw. In order for Femur to have the best quality of life, her leg needs to be amputated.

We are asking for $2,500 to cover the expenses of Femur's surgery and recovery. With your help, this sweet girl and her brother will soon be on their way to a forever home!
