At just 6 months old, Abbi has already experienced more uncertainty than any puppy should. She was abandoned at the shelter we rescued her from, and while we may never know exactly what she’s been through, one thing is certain, her future is so much brighter than her past.
It’s understandable why Abbi is a little hesitant of new things at first, but every day we see her confidence grow and she’s proven to be more adaptable than she first appears. Outside the shelter environment, we see her being curious about the world and enjoying exploring at her own pace. She has a wonderfully calm, low-key nature and seems happiest just sharing space with people and she has been gentle and affectionate with everyone she meets.
Like many young puppies who have had an uncertain start, Abbi is still learning and she’ll continue to blossom as she settles into a predictable routine.
