Important Information
General Policies
- Our adoption fees cover the microchip, spay/neuter, initial vaccinations, and a general wellness exam.
- Some animals may be adopted out as “foster-to-adopt” pending a spay/neuter appointment or additional medical treatment.
- We do same-day adoptions and operate on a first-come, first-served basis.
- We do not adopt out single kittens 4 months of age or younger unless they are going home to a resident cat or have exhibited behavior indicating that they do not enjoy the company of other cats.
Holds
- If you have a resident dog and intend to adopt another dog, we require an introduction at the shelter.
- There will be a $30 deposit that goes toward the adoption fee. If the introduction does not work out, the $30 fee is considered a donation to the shelter.
- The Hold Lasts 24 Hours.
