Celebrate Your Animal Lover’s Birthday at HHS!
Throw your child a birthday to remember, filled with fun activities, and feel-good memories! At Hinsdale Humane Society, our birthday parties are the perfect blend of celebration and compassion. Kids get to enjoy an experience with adoptable animals, dive into creative crafts, play themed games, and learn a little about what makes animals so special, all while surrounded by their favorite people.
Our Humane Education Center becomes your party space, where laughter and learning go hand in hand. Whether your child is a budding animal advocate or just loves animals, this party is guaranteed to be a hit!
Here’s what’s included:
- 1.5-hour private party rental in our Humane Education Center
- Time for food, cake, and gifts (you bring the treats, we bring the fun)
- A guided tour of the shelter and a visit from one of our adoptable animals
- Animal-themed craft and game
- Help from our Venue Coordinator who handles the day’s activities
- Access to the party room 30 minutes before and after for decorating and wrapping up
Party Timing:
We host parties on Fridays (start time between 4–6 PM), Saturdays (10–6 PM), and Sundays (10 AM–6 PM), based on availability. Another day of the week can be requested, depending on availability.
Party Size:
Up to 15 children and a total of 20 guests (including adults).
Cost:
Minimum $275 donation per party.

- 15 children maximum or 20 people maximum, including both children and adults.
- The birthday family is welcome to bring snacks and drinks for guests.
- Decorations are permitted, but no balloons, please! They can frighten our pets. For an additional fee, we can also decorate for you in our animal themes.
- Minimum $275 donation for the package.
